Biography

Amirmahdi Mohammadzadeh received his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering (2013) and M.S. in Nanotechnology Engineering (2016) from the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran respectively. He worked on the fabrication of nickel nanorod and reduced graphene oxide hybrid electrode for biomedical applications in glucose monitoring as his masters’ project. His expertise is in materials science, synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, two-dimensional materials, graphene and its derivatives, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), hybrid nanomaterials, electrochemical biosensors, and electrochemical measurements including cyclic voltammetry and amperometry. He is now pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of California – Riverside (UCR) and joined Professor Balandin’s Nano-Device Laboratory (NDL) as a graduate research assistant in 2018. His research interests include nanoscale device fabrication and advanced materials.
